Street Drifting!!!
Well u know wat i'll be saying for the entire blog entry tis time. DRIFTING!!! YAY!!! Oh sorry, i dunno how to drift yet n no i can use my current car to drift.
Been watching too much Initial-D lately. Been so exited about drifting, and so i go dig the Internet for some drifting techniques for both FF(front wheel drive) and FR(rear wheel drive). Here's wat i got (i only understand a few only):
FF Drifting technique is very limited or rather there is juz 1 technique to do it.
This technique requires the driver to pull the hand brake to let the rear wheels slide to achieve drifting into a corner. Then balance back wif the steering when exiting the corner.
FR Drifting techniques has many ways.
Faint Drifting - This is where u enter the corner wif full speed to product a heavy oversteer and the wheels will slide.
Clutch Kick - This is where u release the clutch abit n then let go the clutch pedal to give a suddent kick between the front n read end and u'll be able to slide the read wheels.
Shift Lock - This is done when u shift down 1 gear (normally u'll get 1500 revs extra) to temporary lock the rear wheels to create a sliding.
Jump Drift - This is done when u bump into a curb of ur rear wheeel to let ur rear tires lose traction.
Those are some of the drifting techniques. Plz dont do tis if u dunno how to control ur car. For me, i'm looking forward to practice it when i hav spare money to buy a car juz for drifting(since i cant drift my current car), and spare money to buy extra tires.
